Sally didn't know what else she could say at this point. She just held on to him and tried to make the most out of the moment.

Tyler gave Sally one last kiss and walked to his plane.

Sally waved to Tyler good-bye as he left. She can't believe this is happening. He's leaving again. And this time he might not come back. She kept her eyes on him realizing how much she'll miss him during this time.

Nick was on myspace, talking to friends from ANTS1. He talked mostly to Kathleen, Brooke, Tyler and Rori. So he knew something was wrong after Tyler didn't post at all in 2 weeks' time. Nick viewed his profile, and saw that he had enlisted in the army. Nick called Tyler's cell phone and left a message:
Hey Tyler, man. So I know a lot's going on for you. I just want you to know that I support you in all I do.
I read that you made some mistakes, and quit music. That was totally the wrong decisison, man. I mean, please don't be so hard on yourself. I always told you to be proud of yourself no matter what, but it seemed to never sink in. Now here you are, enlisting in the army.
I talked to Rori earlier today, and she wishes you luck, and hopes you'll learn a lesson.
You're an amazing kid, Tyler, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Good luck, man. I'll be praying for you.

Tyler sat in camp. He checked his voice-mail.
Nick Esposito left him a message.
"Hey Tyler, man. So I know a lot's going on for you. I just want you to know that I support you in all I do.

He hadn't talked to Nick in ages... Physically anyway. He realized he left a lot behind other than his music or Sally. His friends, his sister and his music. But he had to do this. It was the right thing to do. Tomorrow he was going on leave. But he didn't want to go back after this. But he couldn't just quit.

Nick heard his phone ring, and he checked to see who it was. It was Tyler, and he was kind of surprised.

"Hey Nick. It's Tyler. I really just need someone to talk to. It's been really rough here lately. I got sent to the infirmary, and I'm coming home soon. In my wheelchair." Tyler said.
He got shot in the back about a month ago. He couldn't walk. He'd lost all mobility in his lower body, and he may never walk again. It was so frustrating. His life seemed over. He knew he had to go on, but it was so hard.

"And Tyler. When you get home, no matter what you say, I'll be helping you out. Getting groceries, taking care of you, because I'm nervous."

Tyler said, in a apocalyptic-like way. He hadn't even told Sally yet. Why would she want to ruin her whole life for a guy she barely knows.
