"Well, I know I couldn't just sit at home. I just had to be here."

"I've watched a lot of things on TV about you and him. The way you looked at each other... it was easy to see how in love you were with each other. It must be so hard for you. And I apologize, I'm probably not helping you." he said.
"Just trust me on this one, don't try to forget about him. Remember the good times you shared, and you'll be okay."

Jill is new in town and doesn't know what she's doing there. She was a big fan of Tyler, but why we would she go to his memorial? It may seem sellfish, but she came here mainly to make a friend. She sees a girl crying and wants to comfort her so they can maybe become friends. She walks over to Sally and Jackson.
"I know you don't know me, but I'm sorry for your loss. Is there anything I can do?"
She can't believe she said a word to anyone in this town. She feels like running away because she's sure that they think she's a weirdo. No stranger ever walks up to you and apologizes for a loss.

It was a sad day for Brooke. She had been in total and utter shock when the news of Tyler's death had come to her. It was totally unexpected. After all, he had survived a war for goodness sakes. That was a reason to think he was unstoppable. Now that he laid without a breath in a coffin, lying with his eyes closed for good, Brooke could not help but tear up and splatter a river onto the floor below her.
Tyler was a friend, a dear friend. After meeting on ANTS, they had clicked and she remembered spending so much time with him on the show. And because they lasted all the way to the Final 2, their friendship grew even more. She remembered when they held hands as they walked forward into the spotlight, awaiting that final announcement of who would be ANTS. And when Tyler was named the winner, she remembered her hugging him with tears of joy splling from her eyes, with him smiling and doing the same thing and a load of confetti falling from the sky as their fellow contestants, their fellow friends huddled around them. What a happy, joyous memory, a memory Brooke thought would be the first in Tyler's long, long career.
And now he was gone.
These thoughts spun around her head as she walked into the theater, dressed in a black dress and wearing sunglasses, covering the tears that fell from her eyes. The place was already packed with people and for good reason. This was Tyler after all.
Sobbing loudly next to her was Kathleen Pace, a dear friend of hers who had come along to pay her respects to Tyler. The cries that emerged from Kathleen bellowed through the hall. In a way they sounded a bit overdramatic, overacted, yet they were real. They were true tears and cries of sorrow. for Kathleen loved Tyler as a friend dearly.
As the ceremony went by, the memories flooded the two girls' heads. Tears continued to fill their eyes. Brooke finally couldn't take it anymore. At the end of the ceremony, she rushed out of the theater and onto the streets, sobbing loudly. She didn't realize that her bond with Tyler was THIS strong. Then again, they had spent so much time together, so many memories, so many joyful memories.

Nick walked sullenly through the doors. He was thinking about his last phone call with Tyler telling him to get his life back on track. It was starting to happen, but it was too late.
Nick continued to walk to Tyler's coffin. He placed his hand on Tyler's wrist, hoping for a pulse. He then whispered in Tyler's vacant ear, "Tyler? It's Nick. Remember me, buddy?"
No response.
Nick then whispered, "Hey Tyler, you can wake up now. It's okay."
Again, no response.
Nick knew Tyler was dead, but he wanted to ignore that plain and simple fact. He wanted to find a way to bring Tyler back. He was losing his mind, it seemed like.
Nick shouted "Tyler, WAKE UP!"
No response.
Nick fell to the floor sobbing uncontrollably, tears streaming down his face. He jumped to his feet and ran out the doors, realizing he was never going to see Tyler again.
