"Don't I even get a ring?" Riley said teasingly.
Riley looked deep into Gary's eyes.
"I promise I will never break your heart again," she said.
A tear of happiness trickled down Riley's face. She pressed her lips against his and kissed him passionately.

Gary smiled. Of course! The ring! He had one in his pocket, just in case he needed it. He got down on one knee.
"Riley Hart, will you marry me?" He popped the top off of the case, revealing a golden ring with a big diamond on it.

Riley was surprised he did it right here.
"Of course I will Gary," she said.
She didn't want a big celebration, but something told her she was gonna get one. The thought of spending the morning away from Gary while getting ready unmoved her.

"YES! GREAT! I never forgot the day in Starbucks when I met you. I really will make you a happy girl. What do you want for the wedding? I'll invite... uhh........ Sammy! She's a necessity, uh, hmmmm... Should we invite the Taylor's?" Gary was so excited. He was actually getting married.

Gary was so excited, she didn't want to bring him down with her not wanting a big ceremony.
"I guess I'll have Sammy be my Maid of Honor, since I'm sure Rori won't... The Taylors have done so much for me too. Oh and my old friend from Syracuse Andrea is moving here. But to be honest Gary... I don't want a big ceremony." she said

"Oh, Riley, that's fine. We'll do whatever you want. Alright, so a small ceremony, the Taylors, Sammy, Andrea, and... That'll be it!" Gary wanted to make sure Riley had the best wedding ever. He forgot they were in the middle of a hospital lobby.

"Don't you want to invite anyone?" she asked.
She suddenly felt a pang of guilt. Was he really this whipped that he would have a wedding consisting of basically her friends?

"Well, I hope you don't hate me for this, but... I don't really have any friends here except for you, Sammy, and the Taylor's." Gary was nervous that Riley would break up with him after he said this.

She realized she was saying this in a hospital lobby.

Rori was obviously traumatized after Tyler's death, and she was sure the pregnancy didn't help. So she kicked Riley out. Riley's eyes got glassy.

"Riley, I'm so sorry. I guess, we'll go to my place. Riley, who would want to kick out someone like you? You're perfect. I love you." Gary started the car.

"Someone whose brother died right before I told her I was pregnant" Riley said.
Riley decided to change the subject so she didn't cry.
"Whatever happened to you and Sammy?"she asked.

"We kind of just drifted away from each other. I haven't talked to her in a long time, but we are still friends." Gary explained to Riley.

"Well I'm glad you did," Riley said with a smile.
Riley looked at her new ring. Besides the whole Rori situation, Riley's life was really looking up. She was getting married to the love of her life. She was starting a family with him. And to top it all off her old bff was moving to town.
"I bet you and Andrea will get along. She is way prettier than me," Riley said
