Riley was 4 months pregnant. She held two plane tickets to Las Vegas in her hand. The plane was leaving tomorrow. Gary and her were to go to Vegas and get married. There was only one problem.
Gary didn't know about it.

Gary was shocked when Riley showed him two tickets to Las Vegas. That's where he always dreamed of getting married. All of his dreams were coming true: He was marrying an amazing girl, having a kid, got a record deal, and is getting married in Las Vegas... What more could he want?

He was so open and sweet...
She was sure this was the right choice.
"I love you," she said, feeling the need to remind him.

"Only 5 more months," she said, holding her bulging belly.
Life was finally the way it was supposed to be.
"Before we get married... you should know that I'm not completely over Chris..."
"But I love you so much more..."
She hoped this wouldn't ruin everything.

"I'm ok with that. I should let you know that my best friend Luke moved in to town, and he's going to be my best man!" Gary was so excited his best friend was moving in. Luke was always there for him.

The news didn't excite her. If Gary's friend was here, she would see less of him. And so would Alec.
But she knew Gary needed someone to talk to other than her.

"Um... oh, ok... Uh, yeah. We are... Alright, I'll just let him know... Sorry..." Gary was really dissapointed. Now, he felt he couldn't ever hang out with Luke. Then, he decided to act like he was happy anyway. "Yeah, your right. I'll just need to go with it." He forced a smile... Luke was there for him all the time when Gary was young. He let Gary move in when Gary's parents died. But, Riley meant more. He thought...

She could see Gary's dissapointed look.
"No nevermind we can just have a normal wedding..." she said.
At first, she hated the idea. But as she thought about it, it started sounding better. Everything picked out by them down to the last detail, publicly committing to their love... Everything could be perfect.
"Andrea will love helping me plan it anyway," she said.

"No, Riley, we can do the small wedding. You already have the tickets, so why waste the money. As long as I officially declare my love to you, I'm good." He looked at Riley and smiled. A real smile.
