Riley opened her eyes and felt Gary's shoulder on her head. They had just finished their flight to Vegas, which she slept through. She looked outside into the neon night of Las Vegas. Even though it was the gambling capital of the world, it was beautiful. And soon, she would be Riley Renee Hammelman.
She wrapped her arms around Gary.
"We're here..." she said.

Gary woke up when he felt Riley's arms wrapped around him. He smiled. "I know, honey. You ready to get married?" He tenderly kissed her. He couldn't believe this was happening to him!

"Yes," she simply said.
"5 more months..." she said, not sure whether she was talking to Gary or herself.
"These are the last few hours you have being single," she continued, still unsure who she was talking to.

Gary smiled. "Yes, but I wouldn't marry anybody but you." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Gary didn't want to go back to the past. "Listen, let's just forget about that. We are getting married and having a baby, and I know I made a big mistake." Gary didn't want to think about the past.

"I know... let's just focus on tonight...."
"Just promise me that you are marrying me because you want to, not because I'm pregnant."

Riley and Gary left the plane and went to their hotel room.
"Not exactly how I pictured my wedding day, but real is better than perfect."

"It's just... ever since I was little... I had this perfect plan... Finish high-school, meet my Prince Charming, Go to vet school or maybe get a record deal, get married and have 3 kids and a Golden Retriever. Everything is gonna be different from now on..." she said, tearing up.
"But at least I got one part of my plan right..." she said, smiling.

Gary smiled and wrapped his arms around his wife-to-be.
"I'm going to make you the happiest person in the world. I love you, Riley." He whispered in her ear.

They went to the wedding chapel. It had neon on it. They both got into their wedding apparel. Riley was wearing a typical wedding dress.
A lot of stuff Riley didn't really listen to was said by the minister guy. She didn't pay attention until it got to:
["Do you Gary Hammelman take Riley Hart to be your wife – to live together after God’s ordinance – in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your heart’s deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live?] the minister said.
Riley awaited his answer.

Gary listened and smiled. He looked right into Riley's eyes. "I do." He said with teary eyes.
As the minister repeated the same speach to Riley, Gary was nervous at what she would respond as. Would she change her mind? Would she say yes? Gary was so nervous, he started feeling dizzy.
"Its just the nerves..." He muttered to himself.

Gary looked like he was about to throw up.
This was the most important moment of her life.
After this she would be his forever. Even if she still loved Chris, there was no denying she and Gary had an unbreakable bond. Alec.
But she also loved him passionately.
"I do," she said.
They exchanged rings. Last was the pronouncement.
["May you always share with each other the gifts of love – be one in heart and in mind – may you always create a home together that puts in your hearts – love – generosity and kindness.
In as much as Gary Hammelman and Riley Hart have consented together in marriage before and have pledged their faith – and declared their unity by giving and receiving a ring – are now joined.
You have pronounced yourselves husband and wife but remember to always be each other’s best friend.
What – therefore – God has joined together – let no man put asunder.
And so, by the power vested in me by the State of California and Almighty God, I now pronounce you man and wife – and may your days be good and long upon the earth.
You may now kiss the bride"]
