Ferd and Kathleens First Date Conclusion

[Kathleen Pace]

She'd always been the "weird" one, the "different" one at school, and she always was picked on by the "popular" girls just cause of her weird style and her outrageous, annoying personality. She had her friends, but she was part of the lower part of the social line, and it had really hurt her self-esteem. Now that she had released her first album, hosted so many popular shows and events, like Idol Search and AAG, she felt that she had risen above those girls. And now this?? IT was a dream come true for her.

Tears started appearing in Kathleen's eyes. "Oh, Ferdy, you just don't know how much that means to me," and she burried herself into another deep, deep kiss.

"If I said I wanted to marry you, what would you say?"

[Kathleen Pace]

Kathleen immediately got herself out of the kiss and just stared at him in a shocked, yet excited, look. She'd never been so serious in a relationship before, and temptation was taking over instead of her logical thinking. They'd known each other less than a week, and than he asks her this? Any normal girl would've said that it was way too fast, but Kathleen was a not a normal girl.

"OMG, are you serious??" was all that came out of her mouth.

"I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have asked that. I'll take you home."

Ferd felt like crying at this moment. Why on earth did he ask her that? Weren't guys supposed to NOT want to get married? But he had liked her since they were on America's Next Top Singer Together.

[Kathleen Pace]

((Kathleen was on ANTS?? )

"No, no, I didn't mean it that way," Kathleen said, "It was a good 'OMG, are you serious?' I would've said yes." Kathleen smiled sweetly at him. Of course, she had her doubts, but her heart kept telling her it would all work out in the end. Plus, she was sure she was in love with him.

"Well, I don't want to get married just yet. I just wanted to see what you'd say if I did ask you. We barely know eachother, but I definitely would like to someday."

Ferd did want to get married now, but he realized he had to wait.

Kathleen gave Ferd a grin. Even though she would've been so happy if he'd asked her that moment, she finally got to her senses and knew it was a dumb idea to do it at that second. Her mom had always told her to take it slower with guys, and don't marry them until you truly knew them. Of course, Kathleen really felt she knew Ferd well, but she thought taking it slow was a good idea anyway.

"Can't wait until that day," Kathleen said.

"Me neither" He said

"Until that day, how woul you like to move in with me?"

Kathleen was a little hesitant on this part. She had just bought her very first condo, and she was quite proud of it. The effort and the amount of energy she had spent decorating the whole thing was so great, that she didn't want to leave the place ever. Plus, as her mother's words kicked into her brain, they'd known each other for less than a week. They'd have plenty of time to have their relationship grow without living in the same condo. They about a few stories away, anyway.

"...Sorry, Ferdy," Kathleen said, trying to sound as polite as possible, "It's just that...we've only known each other for less than a week, you know? And we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other, even without living in the same condo. I just love my condo, and I really want to live it in for a while longer. Maybe later, Ferdy, but now is a bit too fast for me."

Ferd almost expected this response. He didn't care though. He wasn't mad.

"Then you at least have to let me take you on another date! This time to a place where Michael can't ruin it. Fransachelli's!"

Kathleen took a quick glance at her watch. 12:00 AM flashed on the screen. She hadn't realized that they'd been together on this entire date (or whatever you'd call it) since around 5 PM. That was, like 7 hr! She hadn't realized that so much time had passed by, yet now that she thought of everything that had happened from then to now, like their meeting in front of the movie theater, their encounter with Michael, the moments of anger and tears that laid before the romantic kiss in the lights of the paparazzi and finally, the trip to the condo, she was surprised it hadn't taken longer.

Kathleen thought about it for a while, but she realized that she had to meet James at the recording studio with some others in order get started on planning her tour. It wouldn't start in quite a while, yet James had told her she needed it for publicity. "Ferdy, it's so late though, I'm afraid," Kathleen surprisingly heard herself say, "I've got to meet James at the studio tomorrow, and I should get to bed. Maybe we'll plan this for another night. Sorry."

Never had she been the party pooper before, but there it was. But Kathleen did have her mature times that always seemed to come out of her at random times. Maybe this was one of them.

((The date's really long, ballad, so I was thinking we would start a new one with their time at Fransachelli's later for a second date.))
