Gary opened the door for Riley, and followed her into his room. He looked at Riley and smiled. "You know, we still haven't had our first dance as man and wife yet." He reached his hand out for hers.

Riley took his hand and started dancing with him. it was more hugging each other spinning in circles than dancing. "Something should be here for us any minute..." she said. She felt bad, Gary was always sacrificing so much for her, but she didn't really do much for him. She heard a knock on the door and opened it. It was Andrea with a puppy, a little Huskie with blue eyes.

Gary looked at Andrea with the white puppy in her hands.
"Riley! He's adorable! What's his name?" Gary ran over and picked up the small white furball.

"You get to name him," she said.
It was the least she could do, after everything he'd done for her.
["He's all your's, I have to go work,"] Andrea said.
Andrea left. The happiness in Gary's eyes made her happy.

Gary looked at Riley. "Really? Alright... Um..." He thought long and hard. "How about............ Tiger. He looks like a little tiger, doesn't he!" Gary laughed as he played with his new puppy's small paws.

"I talked to Andrea, and when she sent me a picture of him, it just made me feel like it was the right pick. It was like Alec wanted him," she said.
"It looks like he likes you... and he really makes it feel like a family... Plus it is good practice for Alec..." she said.
She looked at Gary playing with their new puppy. He looked so happy and carefree, and it made her so happy that she actually contributed to their relationship for once.

Gary put Tiger down on the floor and watched as he jumped right on the couch and lay down. He really felt that he and Riley's lives were coming together, now. He put his arm around Riley.
"I'm so glad you are in my life, Riley." He simply said before he tenderly kissed her on the lips.

"I feel the same way," she said
Riley had another mood swing.
"How are we going to support our child? I don't have a job and you JUST got a record deal..." she said.

"Riley, calm down. Everything will be fine. I will take care of everything. I just want you to have the best life you can. I will get another job if I can, and once I start working on my record deal, I will have some more money. I don't want you to worry one bit. For now, lets just relax. All the stress will be worth it when our little Alec comes." Gary smiled. He sat on the couch, and started to pet Tiger.

"I need to get a job..." she said.
"But who hires a pregnant 17 year old?" she said.
She went into her room and found her demo CD.
"Here, take this to work and see if they can market it or something..." she said.
She was stressed out.

Gary took the CD from Riley's hands. He looked at it.
"Alright, Riley. But if they can't, don't worry about it." Gary sat back down and started watching T.V.

"Ok..." she said.
Riley looked at a stack of papers on the table. There was a large envelops she didn't open. It was a few months old. She decided to open it.
"Oh wow..." she said.
It was a check for 250,000 dollars. She remembered Tyler wrote a will when he joined the army, and another one before his stem cell. There was a letter attached.
Dear Riley, The past few months have been really hard for me, as I'm sure they have for you. I am sorry for everything that happened with me and you. I was stupid and judgemental when you needed me most, and I am so sorry. I hope we can be friends again.
Tyler, may he rest in peace, left you and I 500,000 dollars. It would've been unfair to keep all of it, and it was mailed to our condo. So I sent you half of it. Tyler was such an amazing person. Even in death, he helps us. I love you (like a sister =P). I hope we can just put this behind us.
Yours Truly, Rori Hart
"Gary, we don't have to worry anymore. Tyler saved our family..." she said, tears running down her face.
She walked over and picked Tiger up, in attempt to comfort herself.

Gary looked up at Riley.
"Really? We can't let him do all of it for us, though... I'm still sicking to this record deal." Gary sat back down.

"He left me 250,000 dollars though... we are set for at least 2 years! By then, your record will be on the market and we'll be fine... we would have starved if it wasn't for him..." she said.
It felt like he was watching over them.
"I feel like I should still get a job though, I dropped out of high school but I got my GED so I have credits. Maybe I should do online college or something... because I want to give Alec the best life possible," she said.

Gary slowly walked up to Riley. He hated seeing her stressing out, it just didn't sit right with him.
He put her hands on her shoulders.
"Honey, Alec will be fine. Maybe online college will work out, but right now I just want to spend time with you." Suddenly, as Gary was leaning in for a kiss, his phone started ringing. It was Luke, a text from him. Gary's eyes lit up as he read the text. Gary looked up at Riley.
"Riley! Luke got two plane tickets for Hawaii and he's inviting me to go with him!"
