He finally thought he was going to have a normal relationship, but now... it was over.

Kala nodded, as if she understood. If she was going to date him, this would take some getting used to. She would be dating someone with a kid. Which wasn't completely normal.

Carson got a call on his cell-phone. From Danielle.
"Hey..."
["I don't think we can do this... it was just a random hook-up and we are too young..."]
"What do you mean?
["I'm getting an abortion,"]
"What? No!"
["It's my choice!"]
"What about adoption? Or I could raise it!"
["I've made up my mind,"]
She hung up. Carson started crying.

Kala crinked her eyebrows. At once, her eyes softened. "What's wrong?" She asked Carson.

"She's getting an abortion... she's killing my child!" he said.
He couldn't just sit by and let his own flesh and blood be vacuumed out of a chance at life. But what could he do? He was studying law but it wasn't like he was a senator! He could try to convince the politicians to ban abortion, but he wouldn't be the first to have failed. The only way would be to convince Danielle, but even that seemed impossible.
"How can she do this?" he said.

"Oh, no." Kala couldn't believe she was getting an abortion. It was just like a murder!
Suddenly, she broke out crying. She was irritated when she found out her boyfriend had a baby, but even more when she found out that she was getting an abortion.

"I'm not going to let her do this. It is rediculous. I have the money, I can get her a place to live and pay child support. And I offered to raise it," he said.
"This is just a matter of her being mad at me, and she is taking it out on our child," he said.

"The only way I can get her to not do it for sure is to be with her. She is stubborn, and she will do anything to get her way. But I can try to just persuade her not to until she is too far along for them to legally give her an abortion. I am going to have to think like a lawyer here," he said.
