Jill's face turned red. "Love Barry? Don't make me laugh. I don't love Barry. Even if I did, he doesn't love me, he loves Ashley," she said tears filling up in her eyes.

Looking to the other two, she laughed. "She's my 2nd cousin."

"Ashley is gone. But you are here, and if Barry didn't have feelings for you, he wouldn't have gave up his career to protect your innocence and body," he said.
"Barry loves Ashley. He always will. I know this sounds wrong, but in due time, he is going to have to move on," he said calmly.

"Hi Kala!" Jill screamed tears in her eyes. She turned back to Carson.
"He already told me he can't get over Ashley. He will never be with anyone and neither will I," she said. She hugged her new friend Carson.

Kala ran up to Jenny and jumped on her back. The two fell over and began to roll on the ground, while hysterically laughing.

"Kala!" Carson said excitedly.
"What are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see you, I am," he said.
Seeing Kala's face really helped clear his head. She was his first true love.

Jill looked at Kala, Carson, and Jenny. The couple and the cousin. A random friend is never wanted. She kicked sand in Leah's face and walked into the ocean. A guy walked up to her. She looked at Carson and quickly jumped out. The ocean, her favorite place, was ruined by Carson. She sat on the beach crying. She looked at Kala and Carson and all other couple and felt envy. Why can't she be as happy as them?

"Oh, hey, Carson!" Kala smiled, getting off of Jenny. She stuffed her hands in the khaki bermuda shorts, and looked at Jill. It was awkward already.
