There was silence.
"I know this sounds really bad, but with Danielle living with me, there is going to be temptation. I have come a long way, but I'm not sure I can resist it right now,"

Kala was stunned. After thinking about it for a while, she said, "Fine."
She didn't want to lose her relationship with Carson, and maybe sex was a way to keep it.

"Ugh..." he said.
"I'm such a jackass... I'm sorry I don't want to pressure you I'm just so damn confused right now. I have a lot on my plate. I mean I got a girl pregnant when I have a girlfriend, I have to keep up with my football, and my girlfriend probably hates me...." he said.
"I'm sorry, we don't have to if you don't want to," he said.
"I love you," he reminded her.

"Are you sure?" he asked.
Carson knew that he shouldn't do it, but it had been at least 4 and a half months without sex, and he doesn't pleasure himself anymore. He wanted to have sex again. But he wouldn't make the same mistake again.
"Maybe you should go on the pill," he said.

What the hell are they talking about? Jill wondered. She knew about Danielle, but they couldn't have been going on that long. "Hey, what's going on?" Jill asked Kala.

"You don't have to do this if you don't want to, Kala," he said.
To be honest, Carson wanted to have sex with Kala. But not just to have sex. He was starting to develop feelings for Danielle. He knew he could have sex with her if he wanted, but not Kala. He thought that maybe if he had sex with Kala, it would sort of even the playing field and tell him who he really loved.

Carson was getting excited thinking about it. A lightbulb came on in his head. What was he forgetting?
