James walked into the gym in his business suit, carrying a suitcase by his side. This was the place he went to everyday for at least an hour, right when he got off of work from the producing studio. He rarely missed his gym visit. He loved to work out and even though he was 36 years old, he still wanted to retain the body he had when he was 20 (at least come close to it). Plus, as a part-time fitness model, it was very important that he kept in shape.
A few minutes later, James had changed into a white tank top and a pair of shorts as he exited the locker room. Instead of the nice, shiny dress shoes he had had only originally, a pair of expensive tennis shoes replaced them. After taking time to stretch a little and warm up on the treadmill, James began his daily routine.
He followed a strict work out routine everyday he went to the gym. James tackled the work out of the day as he did his bicep curl with dumbbells. As he worked out, he usually looked around the gym to see if he knew anybody, which usually resulted in no hope. Obviously, loads of people in there knew him, but he didn't always know everyone else. None of his friends were active in the gym either, and he knew that his wife's many friends came to the gym in the morning. So, James was usually lonely when he worked out. But it didn't really matter to him. Working out wasn't suppose to be fun and social anyway. It was an intense, physical routine.

Jack McDonald comes out of the change room. Where to start, he thought. I've always liked the dreadmill.
Jack presses the button, first on "slow". After he gets the hang of it, he turns on a level higher.
THEN, He turns it to full blast, which is making him sweat like a pig. He loses his balance and tumbles off.
"Maybe i should try that stair stepper thingy." He mumbles.

Jack decided to take a break. after hours of working out, he needed a cool glass of Pepsi. He got his money and went forth to the vending machine, but as he walked past, he saw a familiar face.
"Hey, aren't you James Taylor? You are my favorite judge on AAS!"

Sweat was starting to flow down his body as he continued to lift the dumbbells up and down. Set after set was complete over time, and with each one, James continued to look around. Still, no one. He always wished he had a work out buddy to keep him company.
James was just about to finish his bicep curls, all 5 sets of 15. He was about to head over to the chest press area when he was approached by a young fellow he'd seen before on singing shows. "Oh, yes. Yes I am. And thank you. I've seen you before. Have you been on any singing shows lately?"

"Why yes, I have. I came in 7th place on So you think you can sing." Jack replied casually. "And I'm currently going through Vocal Hero season 1." he added.
"So, what's new with you?" Jack asked.

"Oh, I see. I thought I saw you somewhere..." James replied casually, "I'm just here, working out. I'm a bit work out freak if I do say so myself. I just like keeping in shape, and it really helps me deal with the stresses I get at the recording studio. We've been quite low on talent lately, and Starfold seems to be gaining an edge on us."

Micheal entered the gym in a very cranky mood. He didn't like to go to the gym thinking it wastes his time. But the production team at All American Singer thought he was starting to gain some pounds and wanted him to keep a good image. So they threatened Micheal to go to the gym or they'd fire him. So Micheal comes here to the gym. Not feeling very happy.
"Ugh, I'll get this over with I guess."

Jack turned. "Hey, isn't that the host of AAS? I love his cheesy jokes." Jack joked.
he ran over to Micheal. "Hey, dude! what's up?"

Micheal turned around and saw Jack McDonald.
"Ah, you were at the red carpet. Meh, I've been better. The All American Singer staff are forcing me to work out."

As James and the young man had their conversation, his attention shifted to Michael Nettles, the host of All American Singe. He didn't know him that well, despite the fact that they worked together on the show. However, he was such a busy man that he had never ever had the opportunity to actually sit down and have a proper conversation with Michael. Michael, except for his out loud sense of humor, seemed like the type of guy James would definitely hang out with. They both seemed to find physical appearance quite important, as well as other things. Maybe they would be friends one day.
"Hey, Michael. Found freetime in your schedule to come out and work out? Your schedule must be packed though."

Micheal was getting ready to do his work out. Looking very miserable.
"Hey, Michael. Found freetime in your schedule to come out and work out? Your schedule must be packed though."
That was James Taylor. A judge on All American Singer. Micheal didn't really talked to him much. He mostly picked on Brian because Brian was much more fun. He always wondered why Brian didn't use his last name. Anyway, it'd be nice to get to talk to James. He has doubts they'll be friends though.
"Oh, of course it's packed. But the staff at All American Singer apparently think I'm gaining weight. So they want me to work out."
