Shopping; the word caused Kathleen's insides to feel all jittery and good inside. Her frown would immediately become a smile, and all her worries, angers and sadness in the world would totally fade into nothingness. Shopping was her passion.
She didn't have an addiction to shopping. At least, she didn't think she did. In her opinion, her shopping likes were the same as a regular girl. Sure, she LOVED going to the stops and the stores, looking at glittery shoes in the store windows or the latest fashions in the biggest designer stores. Sure, shopping was totally the funnest thing EVER to her. But addiction? No way!!
The day was a normal one, one that Kathleen was surprised to say she had total freedom. Her recording contract and the release of her debut album caused her to be very busy with plannings of her first tour and dealing with the public. She was FINALLY off for the day!! No worries about anything, except of course her fans jumping all over her. However, she was covered. Firstly, since she was a new artist, she didn't have THAT huge of a fanbase. But just incase, she was equiped with a pair of Gucci sunglasses and a hot pink wig. Sure, it would cause a bit of attention, but she just didn't look like herself in the disguise.
Kathleen passed the CD shop, where she spotted her album among the new release section. "Oh, it's great being a star...." Kathleen mumbled to herself. She loved that finally her dreams of becoming famous were going on the right path!! Of course, being a recording artist came with its responsibilities, but she could TOTALLY handle that....at least, she hoped.

Kali's smile spread as she pranced around the mall, with 4 bags (so far). Nothing would stop her from shopping. Besides singing, shopping was her favorite pasttime. Kali passed store after store, collecting more bags. She was just about to enter the cute little pet store, but then her celll phone rang.
"Hello?" she greeted. "haaaaay gurl!!!!" The voice on the other line screamed. "oh, Rita?? GURLY!!!!! Miss-OOF!" She ran right into a familiar face. "uh.. one second, Rita." She held the other line. "Phone ya back!"
She clicked off her phone. the face in front of her looked so familiar..She was thinking..Oh! How stupid am I? it's Kathleen pace! That girl on the TV!
"Um, aren't you that girl.. the host of All-american singer gives back? Anndd.." She looked uncomfortable. "And the after party..."

"Hmmm....where am I off to first? Maybe I should stop y Macy's, just to see if they got any make up I like, then maybe the Cinnabon down in the food court and...." Kathleen found herself laying out a whole plan of her trip. Of course, she never seemed to be able to stick to it, as she was always distracted by SOMETHING in a store window, or some person walking up to her.
"Um, aren't you that girl.. the host of All-american singer gives back? Anndd.." She looked uncomfortable. "And the after party..."
Nearby the pet store, Kathleen heard someone speak to her. Kathleen spun around. She saw a girl with brown hair, holding a ton of bags. 'Oh great, now this...' Kathleen thought to herself. She tried her best to keep her disguise together, attempting a French accent. "Umm...well...I think you are mistaken, am I not right? I am not ze Kathleen Pazzee you speakz of and I don't know what ze are trying to zay to me. Zorry."

Sammy was in the mall shopping for an outfit for her top 20 America's Top Singer 2 performance. She was so excited to do this song by Trisha Yearwood because she absolutely loved the song so much and it was so much fun! She hoped America is going to love her more with this performance.
Sammy loved to shop so much! She couldn't survive without it! She absolutely wanted to grab everything she could see. Specifically, the hats. She loved to put on all kinds of hats! It was like Halloween but everyday and she actually looked cute! She was wearing sunglasses that she LOVED so much. They were her favorite pair. She hoped America wouldn't notice her. She wanted to shop like she used to before. Freely and full of spirit. She ran into the shoe store for some high heels!
"Woo-hoo!"

Kali didn't quite believe her. "Okay.. bye?" She turned and went into that shoe store. She went in and saw a pair of beautiful red high-heels. She went to go try them on when a shoe went flying for her head. She quickly ducked and it went to the direction of a pretty blonde girl with a grin.....

"Oh my lord, these are awesome shoes! Perfect for the performance!"
Before Sammy tried them on, she saw Kali below her.
"Um, hi there!"

"Shh!!!!!!! Uh, I'm not Sammy! I'm a just a regular girl looking for shoes! Yes ya'll!"
She was thinking the southern accent gave her away. As some people started to stare at the three.

Kathleen, pleased with her completion of a successful disguise, went about her shopping trip. She wanted to buy some new shoes, for sure. Even though she was a big shopper, she only had 10 pairs of shoes, 5 of them hideously terrible ones that had been given to her by friends with no fashion sense. She was more into clothing and make up and jewelry and perfume and that type of stuff, but she realized this was finally the time to start on her shoe extravaganza.
She spotted a shoe store a few stores ahead and made her way into it. She'd only been in the shoe store 20 times out of her million shopping trips in her life time, so she wasn't that familiar with it. Plus, she wasn't exactly sure what shoes she wanted. Black seemed nice, but was it really her? It was just so...lame, so conservative, so predictable. She needed something that would pop out, that would be one with her personality.
As she entered the store, she saw it was quite busy. Everyone was either a girl shopping for shoes, or a guy with a bored expression on his face as his girlfriend or wife added to the "want" pile of shoes. Shoes were just shoes to her, and for a girl, that was a horrible thing for her to say. But that's what she believed. When someone looks at you, did they go straight to your feet? No! Why, if someone kept staring at her feet, she would probably feel quite creeped out. Clothing was important, but shoes were not. Sure, having good shoes was important and they could break an outfit if they were totally out of place. But of course, Kathleen knew what to put on her feet, and she didn't need a million shoes to do that.

"Uh, Hi!" Kali replied, embarrased. She popped up and continued to pay for the cashier. Kali walked out and thought for a moment. "Which store next?" She walked around, and into the pet store. She always loved looking at the animals. She walked over to the back and saw all the fish, puppies, kittens, and rodents. "Awwww." She said. Kali was always an animal person. She is a vegitarian.

The people finally started to go away.
"I guess being top 20 on ANTS 2 is not good enough to be famous eh? Oh well! I like the sun glasses anyway!"
Sammy continued to shop. She really liked the red high heels, but she wanted to look around just in case. Getting a little too close to Kathleen. She then bumped into her feeling very embarrassed and with a red face.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!"

After Kali looked at the shoes, she decided they weren't right, so she went to take them back as Sammy bumped into Kathleen.
"Okay, why does everybody always bump into that girl?" She curiously asked no one in paticular.

Kathleen strolled around the store. She needed a pair of shoes that would stand out beyond the rest, yet still not be so overpowering that it was the main course of her outfit. She needed something that was her, that was a definition of her and nothing else. She need something that would make a statement, that would show everyone that Kathleen was not afraid of being herself she needed...
'I NEED THOSE GO-GO BOOTS!!' Kathleen thought to herself as she raced forward towards the shiny pink footwear that stood before her. It was as if a spotlight was shining on it, yet nobody but Kathleen seemed to care or notice them. However, Kathleen knew that they were for her. The pink color stood out immediately above the regular brown and black shoes that surrounded it. The heel was of perfection, and the shape was stunning. She just needed those go-go boots!!
As Kathleen took them down, she felt a bump behind her. She turned to see a blonde girl standing behind her. Her face gave off the impression of her embarrassment, as she looked quite red.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!"
"Ummm...thatz iz fine!! You do no harm," Kathleen spoke, her fake French accent loosing its power, yet her attempt to get it right made her feeling it was convincing. She just remembered her disguise and just prayed that the pink wig and the sunglasses, along with the accent would hold up.

"Wow, I just love your hair! You know, I am a hair dresser and I would kill to work on that hair!"
Sammy didn't really believe the French accent. Then again, she was too embarrassed to fully understand what this person was saying. She barely saw any people with French accents around here.

Kali walked in the shoe store to return the red heels. As she returned them, She saw the two girls she coincidently bumped into, talking. So, she decided to jump in. "So, bumped into anybody lately?" She said with a straight face, but inside, she was grinning. (What the heck that was the cheesyest line in all of cheese town.)
