Kathleen gazed dreamily at the photo in her hands. It was a picture she had found in People magazine of Ferd and her making out on the Red Carpet at the All American Giver show. She remembered that day when she had finally met Ferdinand, her favorite singer. She couldn't believe that it had all come to this, that they were actually in love and that they were dating.
Well, they weren't officially "dating" yet. After all, as she stood in front of the Starlight Movie Theater, she awaited his arrival for their first date. And she went by the rule of "If you haven't gone on an actual date, then you aren't actually dating". So, finally this was the night that their relationship would turn from rolling around, making out on the red carpet to a serious romantic one.
She was quite nervous about this first date. She had had boyfriends before, but none of them were as hott or as special as Ferd. She wanted everything to go perfectly, yet she was unsure if it would. What if she said something wrong? What if she did something that would make him mad or turn him off? What if? What if?
But all she could do was hope for the best. Hopefully, everything went smoothly. Hopefully, their love would grow. Hopefully, their hearts would continue to beat to a rhythm of bliss and pure happiness. All she could do now was wait...and hope.

Ferdinand arrived with a single rose. He had never felt this way before. He was sure it was true love. Kathleen was amazing... unlike any other woman. She is the first thing that made him feel complete.
"Hello Kathleen." He said as he gave her the rose and leaned in for a kiss.

As the night went on and as Kathleen waited, her doubts and anxieties grew with time. Why on Earth, when he was such a famous music artist and I'm just an amateur would he pick me? He had so many options, yet he chose me? Was it for real? Or was it fake?
Her nerves could not help but feel extremely weak. She didn't know she would feel so nervous just by being with Ferd. They were perfectly fine and having fun when they weren't dating, but now that they were, it was as if that changed everything. This wasn't for fun; this was for real.
"Hello Kathleen."
Kathleen spun around and there he was. He looked gorgeous, especially in the light of the night. His hair shone like gold, his face was so beautiful and he just looked so calm. In his hand held a beautiful rose. Kathleen grinned.
"Wuz up, Ferdy!" Kathleen said, trying to hide her nervous, as she reached out to hug him. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad at all...maybe.

Ferdinand was nervous. He had to hide it though, Kathleen was always so calm. This was his first real date, ever.
Kathleen looked beautiful, as always. Her eyes shone in the moonlight and her beautiful brunette hair was done perfectly.
Wuz up, Ferdy
"Not much. How are you doing?" he asked nervously.

'This is just a guy! I can handle this!' Kathleen though, but she failed to believe this. It was a total lie. Ferd was not just another guy. Even though she had only met him a few nights ago in person, she could tell that she loved him. She never believed in that love at first sight nonsense, yet she couldn't help but believe it in this situation.
He was such an amazing guy, and the fact that she was on the edge of a nervous breakdown and he was all calm really made herself mad. She wanted to be perfect for him. And could she be if she was on the edge of screaming like a total maniac? No.
"Not much. How are you doing?"
"I'm doing awesomely, thanks," Kathleen replied, with a big smile, "Thank you for these gorgeous flowers, Ferdy! I love them!"

Kathleen looked so happy, although it seemed like there was something wrong. It was probably just nerves.
He just shrugged it off. Why should he be worried? He had this night planned out perfectly. But he couldn't help it, she was just so amazing.
"Your welcome. A Beautiful rose for a beautiful girl. So what movie do you want to see?" He asked, although if she didn't choose "Backwards Love" his awesome romantic plan would be ruined. His original song "Kathleen" would play in that movie.

"I don't know. Let's go check out what their playing," Kathleen said as she took his hand and went to the front of the theater, close to the list of playing movies.
After living in the city for years, she knew that this movie theater had a huge collection of movies. This was a great thing, as you could find any movie that would perfectly suit you. However, it also took a long time to look for that ideal movie. Sometimes, there were so many options, you couldn't decide.
However, for some reason, Kathleen's eyes were driven to a title, reading "Backwards Love". She'd never heard of it, nor would she have watched it on a regular day. But something told her that it was just right for this perfect occasion.
"You wanna see 'Backwards Love'?" she asked Ferdinand.

"Yeah, I've wanted to see that for weeks." Ferdinand said.
YES! He couldn't believe his luck. Hundreds of movies to choose from, and Kathleen picked the one with his song in it!
He took Kathleen into the snack area.
"Get whatever you want, on me." Ferdinand said.

Kathleen was glad she'd chosen something that Ferd liked. She didn't want to go into a movie with him, knowing that he was uncomfortable with it. She grinned at him as the headed into the theater. Maybe this wasn't going to be so nerve-wracking, if she was just herself.
"Get whatever you want, on me."
"Aww, are you sure?" Kathleen replied. As crazy as she could be sometimes, she absolutely hated spending other people's money. It made her feel selfish and sorry that she was using up someone else's hard earned money on herself. But it seemed as if Ferdinand would just insist, so instead of getting into a fight over it, she replied, "How about something simple...maybe...a medium sized bag of popcorn, a medium sized coke and a pack of those bite sized ice cream things. We can share."

"Ok if thats what you really want, but you can get something else if you want. You're worth every penny." Ferd said.
He smiled at her. Her eyes were simply breathtaking.

"Yeah, I'm sure. All I really need is you," Kathleen said as she stared into Ferdinand's eyes. She was purely overcomed by a feeling of true passion and love for him, something she'd never truly felt before. And it wasn't just cause he was absolutely breathtakingly hott, or in Kathleen's way of saying it "damn, he got some smexy butt there". Kathleen knew that not only was she getting his looks, but his beautiful personality, and that was something she wanted in a guy more than anything. Of course, the butt was important, but nothing was more necessary than a gorgeous personality.

Kathleen was looking into his eyes. He looked into her's and for a second he couldn't breathe. They really were breathtaking!
"Well, Ok. If you're sure."
Ferdinand bought the modest food.
"The movie starts in 5 Baby Bear" Ferd said. Baby Bear was his nickname for her. He didn't know why he chose that; but it sounded cute right? So this was it. Their first date. Just calling her Baby Bear eased the nerves.

Kathleen grinned at him, giggling at the nickname he gave her. She loved it. It was cute and simple. She loved it! If only she was as creative with nicknames as him. "My Sweet Ferdy" or "Ferdy" wasn't exactly the most "original" nickname for one's sweetheart named Ferdinand out there.
"Well, I guess we should head over to there now," Kathleen said, carrying the popcorn, the chocolates and the drink in her arms. "Do you know the room number, by any chance?"

"Here let me carry some of that." Ferd said as he took the popcorn and the coke.
He tried to sound as clueless as possible. "No, let me ask."
He asked an usher. It was room #1 on the first floor. He made sure of this, although it took 1,000 bucks and a call from David Starfold.
"Room #1 on Floor #1. Because you are my number 1."
They went in.

She grinned as Ferd took some of the many items in her arms. Plus, she was pretty glad. In a movie theater, a medium was still pretty huge. It felt as if the popcorn was bigger than a supersized order of fries at the local McDonalds, and THOSE were just plain HUGE. "Thanks, Ferdy. You’re the best," Kathleen said to him, grinning as she spoke. It was as if each second their love was growing.
"Room #1 on Floor #1. Because you are my number 1."
Kathleen giggled, partially like a fangirl, at Ferdinand's statement. He was so cute, and she couldn't help but love the attention and the amount of care she was getting from him. It not only made her feel so nice and good inside, but it reassured him that he was the one, the one for her. And as they stepped into the pitch black room, the commercials still playing on the screen, she couldn't wait for the future that laid ahead for the two of them.
