Should we open this forum up to everyone? This forum was specially made for the singing game community at the americanidol.com boards. However, with less than 10 people being active participants in that community and a few of them not joining this site, we all know that if we are going to be truly active and truly successful, then we will eventually have to open the doors of this forum to the ENTIRE roleplaying community on the internet through advertising. The question is do you think we should do that? Consider that many people in the roleplaying community on the internet are advanced roleplayers and most do not understand the concept of "singing games". Some may consider this forum a complete mess compared to the other ones they have joined. Also, many of you may want to stick to the "family" that we have all sort of made as a result of the singing game community. Answer the poll above (ONE VOTE PER MEMBER), and feel free to give your comments below

Definitely. I think this place could be huge if we open it up. It is like a sims rp. You do Sim Rping?? Well, I've never done Sims rping, but since I do Sims 2 picture contests and editing, I know about it. Anyway, my main concern is about people not understanding the concept of singing games. I know it may be simple to some of you, but I tried explaining it to some ppl on another forum, and gosh, idk if they were just stupid or I explained it badly, but they were just AWFUL

We should open it only to those we invite. If we advertise openly, we would get trolls and people we really don't like. So we could just recruit the ones we know wont screw this up.

I don't think we need to worry about trolls, andy. I can delete members quite easily if I wish to. However, it is a fact we should consider. Also, really how many ppl can we invite and out of those ppl, how many will actually join?
That's why I'm split on this topic. At the same time we need a lot of members in order to increase the time before everyone becomes bored with this site, many roleplayers do not play singing games, and they would be confused by the concept.
