Riley walked into her large apartment. Kaylee and Rori were gone, so they were all alone.
She sat on the couch and waited for Gary to join her.

Gary sat next to Riley on her couch.
"Nice place you got here." Gary leaned over and kissed Riley on the cheek.

Riley ignored his small talk and kissed his lips. She made him lay down, so she was on top of him and they were making out.
"Do you want to... go to my room?" she asked

Gary was happy with her question.
"I thought you'd never ask!" He carried her to her room and plopped her on the bed. He then continued the make-out session.

Riley woke up in Gary's arms. She realized she was naked.
'What the hell did we do?' she thought to herself.
She felt guilty. Chris was in the hospital and she was having sex with a guy she had been dating for less than 24 hours.
'At least it was with a good guy' she told herself.
She woke up Gary.

Gary was suddenly waken up by Riley, who was in his arms naked. He noticed he was naked to. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" He jumped out of the bed and put on his shirt and pants. "I'm so sorry, Riley."

Riley was shaking and couldn't look at him. How could she have shared something so special with him? She didn't think she loved him anymore. Chris was the man for her. She felt very weak and tired.
Riley got dressed.
"Gary, thank you for everything, but I don't think it should happen again." she said.
"I don't love you..." she said softly

Gary walked out of the apartment angry after Riley said that. "You know what, Riley, your really being a jerk. You've broken my heart way to many times, and when I'm finally over it, you come back and do it again. Please, just stop talking to me."

Riley didn't know if she COULD talk to him anymore. She wasn't ready for sex, and she rushed into it. She didn't love Gary, she loved Chris. Gary probably hated her. Maybe she just needed to be reminded that she couldn't have a relationship. Especially not one where sex was involved.
'Maybe Gary was sort of a rebound.' she thought.
She texted Gary again.
"Can't we stay friends?" it said

Gary was walking across the street when he heard his ringtone.
"Why should we? I really hate you now. You're using me. I know you are. I just can't think about you right now, definetly can't be friends with you." He meant everything he said. Everything.

Riley never replied. She stayed at home for the next few weeks. She didn't go to the hospital, and she didn't talk to Gary. She felt exhausted, weak and sick.

Riley got out of bed to check what day it was. To her surprise, it was 3 weeks after her last encounter with anyway other than Rori or Kaylee.
'Wait, 3 weeks, and that date...' she thought
Before she could finish her thoughts, she went to the bathroom and threw up. Then she thought about the date again.
"Oh my god..." she said quietly
She texted Gary.
"Gary... i think i'm pregnant" it said

Gary was taking a walk three weeks after his and Riley's argument, when suddenly he got a text from Riley, saying she thinks she's pregnant. He forgot all about the little fight they had and rushed into the apartment.
"Riley!"

Just because she was pregnant didn't mean she forgave him. But he needed to know. She wanted to be with Chris. NOT Gary.
