Gary knew this was his chance to be a star. He was looking for a record deal, and he wanted to find it here. He was hoping James Taylor was there to see him sing.
He went up to the mic. This was his chance.
"Uh, hi, guys. I'm going to sing an original song called 'Visible to You.'" He got his electric guitar out, and started playing:
"I saw you from a distance. I thought that I would lose my mind. Seeing you in the window... Didn't know where I could go To become...
Visible to you. Seeing you makes my heart go boom Visible to you. Wanting to make a move on you. Visible to you. How could I be... Visible to you.
I knew you couldn't see me Who would, who'd try anyway. Didn't want to walk away, So I decided to make my move. The move so I could be...
Visible to you. Seeing you makes my heart go boom Visible to you. Wanting to make a move on you. Visible to you. How could I be... Visible to you.
*Guitar solo*
*Acapella* Visible to you. Seeing you makes my heart go boom Visible to you. Wanting to make a move on you. Visible to you. How could I be... Visible to you.
Hmm, yeah... Visible to you."
Gary smiled. He was happy with his performance. He hoped James Taylor was to. He wanted to make his own album, and his dream was for it to sell at least 100,000 copies. At least.

Riley sat backstage, listening to Gary's amazing singing. She wished she could get up there. She was 3 months pregnant. With the baby on the way, she never thought about what would happen to her music career.
Riley got lost in the music, and it reminded her of when Gary and her first met. She wasn't interested, he was invisible to her.
Riley whistled and clapped.

Carson sat in the audience. This guy, (Gary was it?), was really good. He had to call his dad and tell him to come down.
"Dad, you have to come down here right now!"
A few minutes later, David walked in and listened to Gary's music, looking impressed.

Andy had just gotten back from a long vacation spent in England with the family. He decided that for his first night back he would head over to the bar, relax, and enjoy some nice music.
The first person up on stage was a guy named Gary that Andy has never seen before. When Gary started, Andy was really suprised. Gary looked like a hard core rocker, but his voice was actually kind of soothing...

Gary smiled and bowed as he walked backstage. He saw Riley standing there, smiling at him. "Should I sing the song I wrote for you?" He asked her.

"No... I want it to be something just for us..." she said.
Her bulging belly felt so alive. In only 6 months, their little family would be complete.
She couldn't wait. She wanted nothing more than to just run off to Vegas and get married.

"Alright, that's fine. What about the song I wrote for you that I sang at the Taylor's condo? Remember?" Gary was hoping she did. That was one of his favorite originals.

"I don't want you to sing them for anyone other than me..." she said.
Riley knew she was probably being selfish. She may not have Rori's looks, or a family to live with, or a recording contract, but Gary and Alec, they were hers.

"Alright. That's fine... I just really want a recording contract so I can supply for this family..." Gary smiled. "But, the way the audience reacted to that one song, I think I did enough." Gary didn't want to sound selfish.

Riley saw a somewhat familiar face coming towards them. David Starfold!
"Oh my god Gary!" she whispered.

David approached Gary.
"Hi, I'm David Starfold. I watched your show, and I was impressed."
"I'd like to offer you a record deal with Starfold Studios."

"Oh my God, hello Mr. Starfold. I can't believe this is happening to me. You don't understand how long I have wanted to pursue my dream in music. Thank you so much. I am going to accept this offer. Oh, God, thank you so much, Mr. Starfold." Gary couldn't believe this was happening to him.
