When Barry finally pulled away, he smiled a real smile.
But then he realized something.
"Jill, before we move forward you should know that I currently live on the streets." he said.

Barry broke away.
They both smiled.
Then, Barry admitted something to Jill. Jill was stunned. She is not a pregnant dog at all an she doesn't care.
"I don't care Barry. I like you for you Barry. I just don't care about any of that."
Then Jill remembered his first question. The question about her living arrangments. Is he just treating her nicely just so he could have a place to stay? For one of the first times in her life, Jill's speaking her mind.
"Barry, do you even like me or do you want a place to live?"

Jill still didn't trust people, but for some reason, she trusted and believed him. She just sensed be was telling the truth. She wasn't 100% sure it was the truth, but she believed him because she really wanted to.
"Yeah I'll take your word for it and thanks. But, if you do need a place to stay, you can stay at my place. I'm waiting for my condo to get accepted."
Jill kissed him again. She couldn't resist it.
"Here's my number." Jill handed him her phone number. "I hope you call me. I really want to go on another date with you after this one ends."

He looked at her.
She was saving him. And he was falling in love with her.

Barry is either a REALLY good actor, or he's actually sincere. It's weird, about two weeks ago she was new to town and didn't know anyone, but now, she's basically dating Barry.
"You're welcome." She said. She really wanted to help her boyfriend.
"But you know I won't let you stay at my house if you don't call me." Jill laughed. She doesn't know if he took it seriously. "I'm joking. Seriously, I'm joking. But I wouldn't mind it if you called." Jill smiled.

"It's a hard decision, do you want to be roommates with a pretty girl you like?" Jill laughed. She felt so comftorable with Barry.
"You just confessed something huge to me and you don't even know my past. I'm sure you're curious, but you won't like what you here. I know you're curious because I'm curious about your past."
Jill wants to think "Why did I say that?", but she knows why. She wants to tell him, she doesn't want to keep it a secret.

Barry felt an unfamiliar feeling in the pit of his stomach.
His first love.

Jill wants to tell him, but she doesn't want her relationship to end. She was falling in love with him. She hasn't loved since Alex and now she knows the feeling of love. She didn't feel that with Alex.
"Barry, I want to tell you, but I don't want our relationship to end." Jill started crying.
"I want to tell you sooooooooooo much. I've never felt this way about a guy before! Not even Alex!!!" She told him through her tears. She couldn't stop crying.

Barry went over to Jill and hugged her tight.
"It's okay Jill.." he said.
"I'm here and I love you," he continued.
He knew it was too soon to say this, but it was the truth.

Barry hugged her tightly. Jill kissed Barry. Barry told her the three words she wanted to here, "I love you".
"Oh Barry! I love you too! I can't believe that you love me! I know you won't over-react to my secret!!!" She stopped crying.
"Okay, I used to live in Trenton, New Jersey. I had a boyfriend there named Alex Kankee. He was my first boyfriend. You're my second. I thought I was in love with him. I told him that. He told me he loved me too." Jill started crying again. "When I was 14, Alex told everyone in my school that we did IT. It's not true though. I never lost my... you know... v word. I still am one. I was the school very *friendly* person. But, I never broke up with him. I stayed together with him. I don't know why. Because I thought I loved him. Then, he proposed to me. I said yes. We decided to elope. He left me at the altar. I decided to leave the town, no boyfriend, no friends, no nothing. I broke up with Alex. He wanted to stay together with me after he left me at the altar! I am so ashamed". She started bawling.
"I know it's stupid, but I'm ashamed of it!"

He held her and comforted her. He didn't want to see her cry.
"I'm sorry sweetheart," he said.
"And I want you to know about my past as well..."
"I was born in East Rutherford, New Jersey. My parents were alcoholics, and it was really hard living every day knowing it. When I was 13, I got in a fight at school. When I beat him, he planted drugs in my locker. I got expelled, and I went to live with my older brother in New York. He got a job in Toronto, but I didn't want to leave. I met this girl, Ashley, and I didn't want to leave her behind. So I went on student welfare. When I was 15, this guy brought a gun to school. He pointed it at Ashley, and I tried to save her. But I was too late... and I lost her..." he said.
He was in tears just remembering it.

Jill was once again shocked. He also knows what it feels like to love his first love. Well, she thought Alex was her first love. Now she knows it's Barry and no one else. She's never felt this way about anyone else.
"Wow, I'm sorry Barry." Jill told him. She really was sorry. She knows what it's like to lose someone she loves. Not only Alex, but her grandparents to. Her grandpa's in jail and her grandma's dead. She doesn't want to tell him about that because it's just too painful. She's not even gonna hint it or bring it up.
"I think we should change the subject." Jill said still half crying.

"I liked this better anyway," he continued.
He kissed her for the 3rd time.
"Do you want to do something else? See a movie, or maybe get dinner tonight?" he said.
