Carson was in his beach house with Danielle, who was about to leave. Today was the day he and Kala were going to take it to the next level. He bought her a car so she could go places without him. She was about to go to a teen pregnancy support group. Over the past week they had spent nearly every waking moment together and they had become extremely close. Carson kept telling himself he didn't have feelings for her, he loved Kala, but he was starting to doubt that. He and Kala's heat had died down a lot, he was hoping today would bring a spark back.
She had to leave, and he found himself wishing it was her and not Kala today. She was just about to leave.
"Danielle," he said, "You are great and beautiful and well... you are the mother of my child. I want to be here for you and I'm not sure I can do that as a friend," he said.
The look on her face was surprise and happiness.
["You have really been great to me lately, and I am really grateful Carson. And you know how I feel about you... "] she replied.
He felt himself moving closer to her to kiss her.
"No." he stopped himself, "I'm not that guy anymore... This can't happen,"
Danielle turned around shaking, likely trying to hide tears.
["I don't understand why you think it's wrong to break Kala's heart, but not mine,"] she said, starting to walk.
"Wait!" he said, walking to her. He turned her around and kissed her. He was cheating on Kala. But he knew somehow he had to choose between supporting the girl he got pregnant and cheating. Leaving Danielle alone with all this seemed worse.
But as he opened his eyes, he saw a figure outside his window, then heard his doorbell. Kala was here.

Danielle's cheeks turned red, and when she heard the doorbell ring she got curious.
"Who's that?" She asked.
She walked toward the window and saw Kala.

"Crap..." he said.
He wondered if she saw.
But he knew he had to face her. He had to be honest. Because even though he cared dearly for Danielle, Kala was still his first true love. He owed it to her to at least be honest.
"Danielle, I want you to know that no matter what happens, I choose you," he said.
He kissed her forehead. He gave her the keys to his car.
"Get out of here, this may get ugly," he said.

Danielle smiled. She hugged Carson and squeeled. She ran out the back door.
"Wow... Nice pool, Carson!" She said to herself.

Kala slammed the car door shut and pulled her fingers through her hair. She was prepared for this day, but also a little nervous, because it was her first time. She rang the doorbell, quietly humming to herself.

Carson opened the door.
"We need to talk," he said.
They sat on the couch.
"Look, the past few months, being with you has been great. But lately I'm beginning to realize that I need to be there for Danielle and our daughter. I have strong feelings for her and I have a responsibility. This needs to end so I can give my daughter a normal life. I know what shared custody is like, and it isn't fun. I'm sorry Kala, but I think its over," he said in one breath.

Kala sat down, and listened to everything Carson had said. She was burning up. They were perfect, and now.. he had the nerve to dump her for another girl?
Glaring at Carson, she sighed and said, "I know you gotta be there for Danielle and stuff, but... I don't know. Just don't expect us to be friends anymore." Tears rolling down her cheeks, she grabbed her coat and watched Carson as she ran for the door.

Carson sat back on his couch. Tears silently streamed down his face as he watched her walk away. He knew this was the right thing to do, but it still hurt. It burned. Carson went outside, to his large yard where he had a small football field. He picked up a football, and effortlessly threw it 50 yards. He knew that soon he was going to have a child. He guessed that football would be his outlet for stress.
The time he spent with Kala had made him a better person. Now he had to be the best person he could for Danielle. Next year he would be at USC, and would be a father. Danielle could move to Los Angeles with him. But in 4 years he would be an NFL player, and he would miss a lot of his daughter's life. But he would also be making a great living.
He got lost in his thoughts. The future seemed so close. As he kept throwing footballs, he thought of names for their baby. Two names jumped out to him, Kristen and Kylie. Whichever Danielle preferred would probably be the one he went with.
He heard a car parking. Danielle was home.

As Kala was walking out, she saw headlights and a car park down the street. It was Danielle. Without thinking, she picked up a pebble and threw it at the car as hard as she could. Tears were dripping onto the sidewalk as she opened the car door and drove away.

Jill was walking on the sidewalk thinking. Kala did nothing to help her. She can't spend 2 seconds away from her boyfriend for her so called best friend. Does Kala even consider Jill as a best friend? Jill was so confused. She was people watching like she does a lot. She saw her "best friend" Kala crying as threw a pebble at some girls car. Kala went into her car. Times like that Jill wishes she had her license and not just permit. Oh well, it's an emergency. She jumped into her car and chased after Kala with her head hanging out the window. "Kala, it's Jill, pull over!" she kept screaming.
((Don't ask why her car's there))

Kala was driving away when she heard Jill yell to her. Stopping, she yelled, "What??"

Jill pulled over and walked over to Kala. Kala's eyes were red. "What's wrong? Why did you throw a pebble at that girls car?" Jill asked. So many questions.

Danielle heard a thump on her window. It was Kala. She's real mature.
Danielle pulled into the driveway. She was so happy that Carson was back with her. She still didn't know what to do about the baby, though. She forgot about it for a minute and walked up to the door, but suddenly realized she had no key. She knocked on the door.
"Carson? You there?"

Carson finally gave his arm a rest, and heard a knock on his door. Danielle was there. He let her in.
"Hey, Dani," he said.

"Hey Car....Sie..." Danielle couldn't think of a cuter name. She shrugged it off.
"Carsie... I need to talk to you about the baby... we need to make a decision before it gets to late." Danielle knew tears were going to pour from her eyes any minute, so she quickly grabbed a tissue.
