  I'm Sammy Cheerwood and I'm the host of this awesome show! I'm currently on ANTS 2 but I always love to host so I couldn't turn this opportunity down! I obviously grew up in the sounth since I have a southern accent ya'll. I hope you enjoy having me as your host! Sometimes, I like to be goofy on the stage. It was hard growing up in my teen years, I went on student welfare to live alone. But I was the first person in my family to graduate highschool. During highschool I sang in the bathroom a lot. The chorus teacher heard me sing and asked me to join. Chorus wasn't exactly the thing people like me did. It could've ruined my life. When the chorus teacher asked me to join, I was failing 10th grade. When I graduated, I was an honor student. Singing helped me get through it all, and I recently received a scholarship to Starfold University for gifted singers. I wanted to go so bad, but a few days later, I found out my girlfriend was pregnant. I couldn't waste time in school to raise a family, so I decided to try out for this competition, as a quicker approach. |

I was diagnosed with many terminal illnesses at birth. The doctors said I wouldn't live to be 7. But my family and I just kept praying and praying, and I lived. After that, they said I'd die at the age of 16. My family and I prayed to God to keep me alive, and here I am today. A few weeks ago, the doctors said there was no way I should be alive. They said my terminal illness had dissapeared. It was a miracle and I thank God for every breath I take. I wish there was some way to repay him. Everyone always said I have had a beautiful voice, and I'd always sang during the hardest times, when I thought my life was over. I am dedicating every moment on this competition, should I make it, to my lord and savior Jesus Christ! |
